Educators Laura Mautone and Elsa Barratt have published a history book for English language learners in upper secondary school. The book is modelled after the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) method, a popular ESL teaching method in Europe. The course book has 6 modules which cover topics in intercultural awareness. There is a CD Rom in which you can find more than 200 worksheets, along with teachers’ guides in English and Italian, and planning and evaluation materials. The end of the course book contains progress tests for each module along with answer sheets.

The book can be ordered through Loescher Editore for approximately 8 Euro: http://www.loescher.it/dettaglio/opera/o_32174/moving-forwards#libro
